Hi, do you all have any experience to share on engine oil for your Sienta?
Using the wrong engine oil will lead to engine 'knocking' problems - is this true?

Hi, do you all have any experience to share on engine oil for your Sienta? Using the wrong engine oil will lead to engine 'knocking' problems - is this true? For my previous generation Sienta, the recommended engine oil is 0w20. I believe the new generation should be the same. I've never heard engine oil causing knocking problem. It got to be more related to using a petrol which is too low octane rating. But Sienta should have no problem for that cos it can use ron 92. I've been using 92 for the past 10 years with no issue.

V-power definitely is overkill for Sienta. How old is your Sienta? Maybe can try change spark plugs.
